Cleco employees volunteered at the West Park Baseball Complex in DeRidder as part of the company’s Done in a Day program.

Cleco’s Done in a Day program furthers the company’s partnerships with charitable organizations across its service territory, as well as provides an opportunity for its employees to get involved in the community. Through the program, Cleco works with non-profit organizations who request assistance with a project that can be completed within one day or a few hours.   

Cleco employees were able to transform the baseball complex ahead of the upcoming season. Employees hung new field netting, replaced boards on bleachers, poured and repaired concrete and painted the concession stand, dugouts and metal poles.

“DeRidder is just one of many great communities that we serve,” said Bryan Lutz, residential and commercial accounts manager at Cleco. “And Cleco’s Done in a Day program offers our employees the opportunity to serve our communities beyond serving them with reliable power.”
