In addition to Cleco’s statewide resources, the company has dispatched additional contractor crews, and is working to secure additional resources to deploy to Slidell.

Cleco’s Director of Distribution Operations, Clint Robichaux, reminds customers that oftentimes one of the most dangerous parts of a storm is right after it passes. “Downed power lines and areas of debris should always be avoided. Never touch a downed line or anything touching a downed power line. Assume all wires are energized, and call Cleco and 911 to report a potentially dangerous situation.”
