PINEVILLE, La. –  As the summer weather heats up, so does Cleco’s energy efficiency program. Cleco’s program helps customers save energy by providing financial incentives and rebates to customers to offset the cost of making certain upgrades to a home or business.

“The program provides opportunities for both residential and commercial customers to lower their energy use,” said Hammad Chaudhry, program manager. “Our upgrades cover air conditioning and heating unit replacements, water measures for those with electric water heaters and lighting upgrades. Typically, these are some of the biggest energy users in a home.”

Residential program offerings:

• Ceiling insulation

• LED light bulb replacements

• Low-flow shower head replacements

• Faucet aerator replacement

• Rebates for EnergyStar HVAC replacements

• Rebates for EnergyStar pool pump replacements

• HVAC replacements
