To assist us in our recruiting efforts, we have summer internships for college students and school-to-work programs for high school seniors. These programs provide students with opportunities to work in the profession they are interested in pursuing. For us, it's an opportunity to recruit, train and prepare college students for the workplace. Summer Internships
This program is for full-time college students. It allows students to work in areas related to the profession they are pursuing, thus integrating classroom study and practical work experience. Every attempt is made to place student interns in positions closely related to their field of study. All applications/resumes received with a specific field of study (e.g., engineering, accounting, computer information systems, etc.) are forwarded to supervisors requesting summer help. Open positions for Summer Internships will be posted by mid February. Applications for Summer Internships will only be accepted when the positions are posted to the website. Please visit our site again to complete a job application if you are interested in working for Cleco during the summer (May - August).
