Black Bayou Lake Refuge
Cleco partnered with Friends of Black Bayou to build an observation tower at the Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge in Monroe. Cleco's donation funded the design and construction of the tower on the fourth lake of the refuge. The tower is handicapped accessible and adjacent to a cypress/tupelo gum wetland area that supports wildlife and waterfowl.
