Cleco Power's electricity rates are regulated by two regulatory commissions that ensure fair and reasonable prices to Cleco's customers.

Cleco's retail sales are regulated by the Louisiana Public Service Commission (LPSC) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Cleco's rates also are regulated by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) in Washington, D.C. Cleco files all rates charged to customers in the form of a rate schedule or tariff with the appropriate regulatory commission. These rate schedules and tariffs are available for retail and wholesale customer inspection on this web site and at the LPSC and FERC offices.

Any time Cleco Power Transmission Operations discloses information not posted on the OASIS in a manner contrary to the requirements of the standards of conduct, Transmission Operations must immediately post such information on the OASIS.  The posting for any such disclosures will be posted under the Notices tab in the Standards of Conduct Summary on the Cleco node of the OATI OASIS.  A digital certificate with valid login credentials will be required to access this site.

With prior approval from the LPSC, Cleco integrated into a Regional Transmission Organization, Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO), on Dec. 19, 2013. Through MISO's regional transmission planning and coordination, Cleco provides customers with more reliable power. As a MISO member, Cleco retains ownership of its transmission system and maintains responsibility for local system reliability planning.
