Bayou Cove is located on 117 acres approximately six miles northeast of Jennings, Louisiana.

The site has four simple-cycle combustion turbine units fueled by natural gas.  Units 2, 3 and 4 are 100 percent owned by Cleco Cajun with a total rated capacity of 225 megawatts. 

Cleco Cajun operates Unit 1 on behalf of its owner, the city of Alexandria.

Bayou Cove began commercial operations in 2002.
