Reimagining the Clean Energy Future

Cleco is setting the standard for clean energy by investing in next generation energy methods through the Cleco Alternative Energy Center and the development of a new, state-of-the-art carbon capture facility in the heart of central Louisiana. Project Diamond Vault will retrofit Cleco’s existing Madison 3 unit at its Brame Energy Center plant to reduce up to 95% of its carbon dioxide emissions through carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) technology.
