Cleco presents the 2018 Louisiana Triathlon

PINEVILLE, La. – May 1, 2018 – Cleco, in partnership with the RocketKidz Foundation, is presenting the 2018 Louisiana Triathlon on May 5 in New Roads, La.  Over 400 athletes will participate in an 800-meter swim, 80-mile bike ride and 5K run.

The race will begin at 7:30 a.m. Athletes may compete in four divisions: Individual Age Group, Beginner Athlete, Open Relay or Duathlon.  The race is scheduled to end at 10 a.m. with an awards ceremony and festival at The Landing on False River in New Roads, La.  Guests are encouraged to stay after the race for live music, food and local vendors.
