Payment Options

  • By Phone

    You will need your bank account and routing number to process your payment if using a checking/savings account. You can also submit your payment by using your credit/debit card. Residential customers pay a $1.85  processing fee for all phone payments using checking/savings/credit cards. Commercial customers either pay a $1.85 processing fee for phone payments using checking/savings OR 2.85% of the total transaction amount for credit card payments.

    You will need your 12-digit Cleco account number which is located at the top of your bill, the phone number on file for this account and your service address zip code to make the payment.

  • In Person

    Customer Service Office
    Click here to find a customer service office near you. Payments can also be dropped off in the night deposit box outside. 

    Authorized Payment Center
    When visiting an Authorized Payment Location, please bring your power bill or your account number to make a payment.

    Pay with cash, check or a money order at all locations except Walmart. Walmart only accepts cash or a debit card. Please allow one to two business days for processing. 

    If a customer's account is delinquent, and a payment is made at an authorized payment center, the customer should call Cleco customer service at 1-800-622-6537 to report the payment.

     

  • Auto Pay

    Automatic Payment Plan
    Pay on your bill automatically every month by enrolling in the Automatic Payment Plan. Sign into your MyAccount, click “Billing,” then “Automatic Payment Plan.”

    There is no processing fee for payments made through APP using a checking/savings account. Processing fees apply for payments made through APP using a credit/debit card, PayPal, Google Pay, Venmo and Apple Pay.

    Payments will not be processed until the account has a $0 balance. 

    Bank Draft
    Pay on your bill automatically every month by bank draft. To enroll, call 1-800-622-6537. You cannot enroll in Bank Draft through MyAccount. View the Terms of Use for bank draft here. 

  • By Mail

    Pay with a check or money order in the envelope provided with your billing statement. Make sure to write your account number on your check or money order. We ask that you please allow five to seven business days for processing. Send payments to the address provided below.

Non-MyAccount Users 

If you don't have an account, go to MyAccount sign in page and click “Pay Your Bill” under the heading “No Login Required.” You will need your 12-digit account number plus a primary contact number or the zip code for your service address.
