Pineville, La. (11 a.m.) – Storms moved through Cleco’s service territory this morning causing widespread power outages to approximately 19,000 customers across central Louisiana.

“Cleco has mobilized all available Cleco line crews and contractor crews to assist with restoration efforts,” said James Lass, general manager of distribution operations and emergency management.  “In addition to power restoration, our crews are working to clear debris.”

At 11 a.m., Cleco had 9,705 customers without power.
