Restoration continues in hardest hit areas

Company posts additional estimated restoration times on its Facebook page

PINEVILLE, La. – Sept. 8, 2020 
– As of 6 p.m., Cleco had restored power to 95 percent of the 140,000 customers affected by Hurricane Laura. 

“We’ve restored power to 95 percent of our customers, and we’re working hard to restore power to the remaining five percent,” said James Lass, director of distribution operations and emergency.

Restoration Assessment

Below are additional estimated times for restoration (ETR) for areas in Rapides Parish.  Please note that unexpected damage or inclement weather could impact restoration efforts and timelines.  Customers can find ETRs on our Facebook page @ClecoPower.
 

Rapides Parish

  • Hineston, Seiper and Elmer
    • Crews are working on Bud Bounds Road to Austin Bedgood Road.  ETR is today, Tuesday, Sept. 8
    • Crews are working on Price Road.  ETR is Wednesday, Sept. 9. 
    • Crews are working on Hwy. 461 to Havens Road and Harper Road to Goodman Road.  ETR is Wednesday, Sept. 9.
    • Crews are working on Hwy. 465 from Dixie Church Road to Price Road.  ETR is Friday, Sept. 11.
    • Crews are working off of Ian Johnson Road to Powell Road and Harold Ivey Road.  ETR is Wednesday, Sept. 9.
    • Crew are working on RV Rhames Road to Clifton Crossing Road.  ETR is Friday, Sept. 11.
    • Crews are working on Cutts Road, Ian Johnson Road and H. Coleman Road.  ETR is Wednesday, Sept. 9.
