Cleco employees volunteered over 600 hours during National Volunteer Month

Cleco employees celebrated National Volunteer Month in April by volunteering over 600 hours at 22 charitable organizations across Louisiana.
In support of National Volunteer Month, Cleco employees volunteered at Starfish Ministries in central Louisiana, completed landscape work at Arc of Acadiana and spent time at the Samaritan Center in St. Tammany Parish.
“There is real excitement each time a team gets together to volunteer,” said Colie Plaster, communications representative at Cleco and Done in a Day program coordinator. “In addition to volunteering at Cleco-organized events, our employees are making a difference in our communities year-round coaching little league, volunteering at schools and serving on local non-profit boards.”
Cleco offers volunteer support across its 24-parish service territory. Organizations can request volunteer support by emailing [email protected].
