Cleco crews have restored power to over 40 percent of customers
Cleco and contractor crews have restored power to 43 percent of the nearly 17,000 customers who lost power overnight and today due to Winter Storm Fern.
“We continue to feel the effects of Winter Storm Fern,” said Clint Robichaux, director of distribution operations and reliability. “Snow, sleet and icy conditions have persisted throughout the day and into the evening making restoration challenging for our crews.”

“We made great progress today despite the icy conditions and freezing temperatures, and will make more headway tomorrow,” said Robichaux. “While crews will continue to work into the night, some customers could be without power overnight. We appreciate our customers’ patience as we continue to safely restore power.”
