Cleco Power Integrated Resource Plan (IRP)
In 2007, the Louisiana Public Service Commission opened a rulemaking process to study the feasibility of uniform resource planning rules for all jurisdictional utilities, which resulted in the issuance of a Commission General Order and Integrated Resource Planning rules in April 2012. In accordance with the IRP rules, Cleco Power initiated its current IRP process with a letter to the LPSC on October 20, 2017.
In addition to the current IRP process, Cleco Power has developed resource plans in 2004, 2007, 2012, and 2015 to support its planning process.
