Incentives & Eligibility
Eligible upgrades for Cleco customers may include:
- LED lighting and lighting controls
- Food & bar operations
- Commercial HVAC equipment
- Custom projects
- Commercial kitchen equipment
Funding is limited and available on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
Hospitality teams balance guest comfort, food quality, safety, and staffing — often across long hours and multiple zones. Energy upgrades that improve control and reliability can reduce wasted runtime and help equipment perform more consistently during peak demand.
How it Works
1. Initiate
Identify a project. If you're not sure where to start, request assistance from the Power Wise team at www.cleco.com/EEupgrades
2. Get pre-approved
Your contractor submits the application and required documentation which Cleco reviews and approves before installation begins. A site visit may be required.
Depending on the size of the business, participants choose/pay their own contractors, or they made be required to use a Cleco-approved commercial contractor.
Exception: For ENERGY STAR® commercial kitchen equipment, businesses may purchase qualifying equipment and submit rebate applications directly.
3. Install and get paid
Install approved measures within 60 days. Cleco issues payment once all program requirements are met.
