Cleco Power Wise® helps small businesses reduce energy waste, improve comfort, and lower operating costs through financial incentives and measurable energy savings—so you can reinvest back into your business and your community.
Incentives & Eligibility
Eligible upgrades for Cleco customers may include:
Businesses with an average peak demand under 100 kW may qualify for:
- Incentives covering up to 100% of project costs, or
- A maximum incentive of $25,000 per project (whichever is less)
- Incentives calculated at $0.22 per kWh reduced for qualified measures
Funding is limited and available on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
How it Works
1. Initiate
Not sure where to start? Request assistance at www.cleco.com/EEupgrades.
For upgrades such as lighting and HVAC, you’ll work with a Cleco‑approved contractor who provides a no‑cost assessment and estimate.
2. Get Pre-Approved
Your contractor submits the application and required documentation which Cleco reviews and approves before installation begins.
Exception: For ENERGY STAR® commercial kitchen equipment, businesses may purchase qualifying equipment and submit rebate applications directly.
3. Install and Get Paid
Install approved measures within 60 days. Cleco issues payment once all program requirements are met.
