Smarter energy upgrades for reliable operations and cost control
Industrial facilities often operate long hours with high equipment loads, making energy a meaningful controllable operating expense. Cleco Power Wise® helps industrial customers identify practical efficiency opportunities, modernize key systems, and reduce energy waste—supporting reliable operations and long-term cost management.
Incentives & Eligibility
Eligible upgrades for Cleco customers may include:
- Lighting and lighting controls
- High-efficiency HVAC equipment and controls
- Building automation systems and connected controls
- Motors, pumps, and other equipment upgrades
- Compressed air system improvements
- Custom projects
Funding is limited and available on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
Industrial facilities balance throughput, safety, maintenance, and uptime—often across multiple shifts and energy-intensive processes. Efficiency projects that improve control and reduce waste can help stabilize operating costs while supporting reliability across critical systems.
How it Works
1. Initiate
Identify a project. If you're not sure where to start, request an Energy Assessment at www.cleco.com/EEupgrades
2. Apply
Sign a Letter of Intent to participate and email all required documents to [email protected]
3. Get Pre-Approved
Pre approval review takes place. A site visit may be required. Participants choose/pay their own contractors, or they may use a Cleco-approved contractor.
4. Install and Get Paid
